Stepping beyond my capabilities as a Staff Writer, I applied to become a managing editor, now taking a more supervisory and overseeing role over Scot Scoop content. In my position, I used my experience as a writer, my leadership skills developed over years as a Scout Leader, and my connections with peers to ensure that we exceeded our standards as a publication.
